CAR

Motorway C-32, NII (from Girona): Exit Calella. On arrival at the exit take the NII in the direction of Barcelona and after passing the Calella County Hospital enter the roundabout and take the sea exit for the Riera Capaspre (old riverbed), there are signs for various hotels and apartments, take the first exit on the left which is Calle Riera where we are situated on the left hand side.

NII (from Barcelona): On arrival in Calella exit at the second roundabout, first exit on the right for the Riera Capaspre, there are signs for various hotels and apartments, take the first exit on the left which is Calle Riera where we are situated on the left hand side.

TRAIN

The train station is a 10 minute walk. Depending on the time table there are between 2 and 4 trains an hour from/to Barcelona. You can check the times and prices of the suburban trains.

To travel from and to Barcelona Airport you must change trains in Barcelona Sants Station and the journey takes approximately between 1.30 to 2 hours.

To travel to Girona city you must change trains at Maçanet Massanes station and there are around 6 trains daily, there is a minimal change time and it takes approximately 1 hour to arrive at Girona. You have to be careful not to miss this connection as if you do you will have to wait over an hour for the next train.

COACH

There are shuttle coaches that connect Girona and Barcelona Airports with Calella, these must be booked before arrival, see:  http://www.barcelonatransfers.com/es/reserva/landings/D/H/30 return fares are approximately 23€ per person.

Also check the timetable on the Barcelona bus website, they offer direct public buses to Barcelona airport for aprox. 7€ per person. Unfortunately there’s only a couple direct buses to Girona airport but alternatively  you can get a coach to Girona Station and then get the train onto Calella.
