Ranch, situated in Santa Susana,where you can enjoy nature and riding on horses, donkeys, ponies or in a cart. There are also other animals here, swings and slides and a coffee shop/restaurant.

Most of the routes take between 3 and 4 hours and the guides have expert knowledge of the territory and will help the participants understand and enjoy the landscapes and discover hidden corners in the park.

Tossa de Mar:
Medieval town with a large variety of scenery, beaches, and leisure activities. You can get there by car, approximately 40 minutes, but the best way is to go by sea. The boat departs from the beach in front of the Hotel Mont Rosa twice a day at 9.15h and 14 hours, the journey takes approximately 2.30 hours along the pretty route and returns from Tossa at 12h and 16.40 hours. Parque Natural del Cabo de Creus
The Cabo de Creus peninsula is one of the largest protected natural parks of Catalunya, measuring in total 13.886 hectares, divided in 3.073 marine and 10.813 terrestrial hectares, a fact which gives it the distinctive feature of being the largest marine/terrestrial park in Catalunya.
It is a lovely landscape where one can see how the Pyrenees reach the Mediterranean sea. It is situated near the village of Cadaques (approximately 1h.30m by car) and is a good choice to spend the day on the beach with wonderful views and opportunities for excursions and scuba diving. Don’t miss the views from the lighthouse.
Parque Natural Aiguamolls de l’Emporda:
The Nature Park of “Aiguamolls del Emporda” these wetlands were made a protected area after a large and intense campaign, that started in 1976, designed to avoid the area being urbanized. It is a paradise for bird lovers. It covers various municipalities, including La Escala, Rosas, Sant Pedro Pescador and Ampuries Castle.
Volcanic Zone of Garrotxa-Gorgues-Fageda d’en Jorda:
The volcanic area of “la Garrotxa” is the largest exposure of volcanic landscape in the Iberian peninsula. It has around 40 volcanic cones and 20 lava flows. The orography, the earth and the climate make for very varied vegetation, often lush with oak and beech trees of exceptional landscape value. On top of the lava of the “Croscat” volcano we can find the beechwood of “Jorda”, the large forest of “Hayas” which has many wonderful different colours throughout the 4 seasons of the year, and to finish we would recommend a swim in one of the “gorga”, which are like natural swimming pools formed in the rivers.

Route from the TV Series “La Riera”; An itinerary which follows the urban spaces which appeared in the fictional village of Sant Climent.
The route covers the 3 municipalities which have the most prominence in the series: Mataro, Arenys de Mar and Sant Pol de Mar, and also has an extra visit to the Tourism Centre of Teia.
The Route lasts all day and cost 36€. The price includes transfers to the various municipalities, a cooking exhibition of a recipe at “Can Riera”, lunch at the University Tourism School at Sant Pol de Mar, and a wine tasting of Alella wines at the Tourism Reception Centre of Teia. Cadaques-Casa Museo Salvador Dali; Village, with a population of 3000, situated on the Costa Brava. One of the most visited places in the village is “la Cala de Portlligat, where Dali lived for many years. His house was made from fishermen’s huts and this is where he found peace and inspiration to carry out many of his artistic creations.

Theatre Museum Dali: This is situated in the town of Figueras, approximately 1h 30m by car from Calella. The Theatre-Museum Dali is the most important example of surrealism in the World. The old Municipal Theatre building, built in the 19th century, was destroyed at the end of the Civil war. Dali decided to build his Museum on the ruins of the old Theatre.

Ampurias Ruins – Greek & Roman sites: Situated in the municipality of La Escala, known most famously for housing the Greek-Roman ruins of Ampurias, one of the most important archaeological sites of the Costa Brava and all of Catalonia. The ruins are found embedded in a beautiful setting by the sea, right on the beaches of “Moll Grec” and “Muscleres”. Approximately 1h.30m by car from Calella.

Barcelona
Capital city of Catalonia, situated 50km south of Calella, offers many interesting tourist activities.
If you are thinking of going by car you can take the NII or take the C-32 motorway, which costs 3.50€ approximately for two motorway tolls. Parking in Barcelona is very expensive and if you get a fine and towed away it is very expensive to get your car back. We would recommend that you leave your car at the entrance of the City in the parking “Ona glories” from where you can take the underground into the City. Basilica de la Sagrada Familia; The most well known building designed by the architect Antoni Gaudi, the construction began in 1882 and should be finished by 2030.
Las Ramblas; Promenade that runs between the “Plaza de Catalunya”, neuralgic centre of the City, and the old port. The promenade is always full of people, day and late into the night. It has many kiosks selling: flowers, newspapers, birds, and street entertainers, coffee shops, restaurants and shops. Near the port end there are often small markets, painters and artists. Walking through “La Rambla” you can see several interesting buildings, including the “Palacio de la Virreina” the “Boqueria” market and the famous theatre “El Liceo”.
Museo Picasso; Is the centre of reference for understanding the formative years of Pablo Ruiz Picasso. Open to the public since 1963, it holds more than 3.800 of his works in the permanent collection. Throughout the year there are also temporary exhibitions. www.museupicasso.bcn.cat
Zoo; Opened its doors in 1892, at the present time there are 2.200 animals, of more than 315 species, all housed in 13,5 hectares. Entrance costs 17€ adults and 10,20€ for children aged between 3-12 years.

Aquarium;A marine leisure and education centre situated in the “Espana” wharf of the Old Port, next to the sea. An ideal place to learn about the sea bed, especially the Mediterranean sea bed. The entrance costs 18€ for adults and 13€ for children aged between 3-12 years.

MACBA; In 1995 the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art opened its doors in the heart of the district of “Raval”, in a new building designed by the American architect Richard Meier. Barrio de Gracia; Situated only one stop away from the start of the “Passeig de Gracia” but seems like a different world. “Gracia” was an independent village until the end of the 19th century. The area is inhabited by artists and bohemians. It is a multicultural area with many international restaurants. “La Plaza del Sol” being the most well known place of this area. It is full of terrace coffee shops and bars and a very popular area to go out for a drink in the evening. Nearest underground station is Diagonal or Fontana on the green line or Joanic on the yellow line.
Barrio La Barceloneta; Fishermen in the 18th Century were the first people who established themselves here in the area on the sea shore, now known as “la Barceloneta”. This is where you will find the best seafood in the area. On the other hand behind all these restaurants, coffee and ice cream shops, on the Promenade “Juan de Borbon”, you will find the beach where there are plenty of kiosks serving fish.
Girona
Capital city of the province of Girona, situated 50kms to the north of Calella. The city offers all the possibilities of a City with the charm of a village.
By car it will take approximately 45 minutes to get there on the NII direction Girona.

Barri Jueu “el call”; One of the best preserved Jewish quarters in Europe.
Paseo de la Muralla;Spectacular walk round the old city walls (14th-15th century) which enclose the historical centre to the East.
